It is with much sadness that Astrologer and Taroist Jonathan Dee passed away on 22nd October 2010 with a brain haemorrhage at the age of 53. Jonathan was a vibrant and wonderful speaker at the 2010 UK Tarot Conference.
Born in Wales, he has been a professional astrologer, Tarot card reader and clairvoyant since the 1970s, and has worked all over the UK and the USA. Besides his natural psychic abilities, Jonathan was recognised as a serious historian and mythologist. Jon is a direct descendant of the Royal Astrologer and mathematician to Queen Elizabeth I, Dr John Dee of old.
“Jonathan …. the world will be a sadder place without your shining light, I feel so blessed to have met you, rest in peace sweetheart x” Kim Arnold
“I had dinner with Jon and Dean the Friday night before the conference – we go back a long way, right from my days at HarperCollins – and spoke to him the day before he died. He said how much he had enjoyed the Tarot Conference, and the whole weekend in London. Lovely you’re doing a tribute page for him; I will miss him immeasurably as a friend and mentor” Liz
“Jonathan opened up the mysteries of Tarot to us in profound ways. As a walker between the worlds, he will know his way onward with the help of tarot companions.” Caitlin Matthews

“The world has one less wise man in this plane, but the wisdom and light he shared will remain with us forever!” Maria
“I met Jonathan Dee at the recent Tarot Conference and was inspired by both his natural charm and deep wisdom, both of which he shared in such a joyful manner with all participants. Though his early passing will enable him to do his work from the higher planes, I feel honoured to have met him in his Earthbound life.” Trudy J Ashplant
“This is really sad news – Jonathan was one of our authors at CICO Books and when I had the opportunity to speak to him he was always so helpful and delightful to deal with. He will be missed.” Sonia Pugh
“I am so sad to hear of the passing over of Jonathon Dee. His knowledge and contribution to the psychic and mystical world is huge and he will be missed by so many. Blessings to you Jonathon on your new journey.” Lyn x
“Jonathan was also a good artist as well and provided the illustrations for my astrology book, and was always fun to work with!” Adam Fronteras
“How sad… flights of angels … “Thalassa
“How quick it strikes. We are all the poorer for this.” Richard
